• Subscription and billing status (payment is handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe — we do not store full payment card data)
• Device type and basic usage analytics to improve the app

• Store and display your content

• Send reminders and notifications you configure

• Maintain app security and reliability

Data Sharing

Important: LifeVault is not a substitute for professional medical or emergency services. Health records stored in LifeVault should be used for personal organization and reference only, not as a replacement for medical advice or emergency communication.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

LifeVault is designed for adults (age 18+) to organize family information and is not directed to children under 13 as independent users. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents/guardians may store information about their children within family profiles, but children should not create independent accounts without parental consent.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, we will delete that account promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within the app. Continued use of the app after updates means the updated policy applies.
